38th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
“THE MEMON CONVENTION”

38th Annual General Meeting of “All India Memon Jamat Federation” (AIMJF) was held on Sunday, 29th November, 2020 at 11 am in Conference Hall of Haj House, Palton Road, Mumbai.

As per Government notification only 100 people were allowed in meetings / gatherings because of prevailing situation of covid19 hence selected members were invited and meeting was relayed live on facebook & Youtube

Meeting was attended by 150 (approx) members, including prominent members of community + Office Bearers,Board Members, Zonal Secretaries, NEC Members and Jamat Heads of AIMJF member Jamats.

Meeting was compeered by Mr Gani Biba

• Meeting was commenced with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Hafiz Yasin Asif Iqbal Memon Officer
• Condolence Resolution & Dua e Magferat was extended to below mentioned members of AIMJF

• Thereafter Memon Anthem & Memon Times Anthem was played followed by Sadqa.
• Mr. Imran Fruitwala delivered the Welcome address and greeted all the members present.
• As per Agenda Items Mr. Aziz Macchiwala (Hon. Gen Secretary) presented the minutes of last AGM which was unanimously approved by the members present.
• Mr. Aziz Machiwala (Hon. Gen Secretary) presented the Audited Statement of Accounts for the year 2019/20 which was unanimously approved by the members present.
• Mr Shakir Batliwala (Hon Jt Secretary) presented the motion regarding appointment of Auditor of AIMJF for the FY 2020/21, Mr Shakir Chitalwala proposed the name of M/s Dalal & Dalal (Chartered Accountant) as auditor of All India Memon Jamat Federation for the year 2020/21 and Mr Javed Zakaria seconded and all the members present unanimously approved the same.
• Mr Shakir Batliwala (Hon Jt Secretary) presented the following 2 New Jamats applications for membership of AIMJF which were approved by all the members as a member Jamat of AIMJF.

• Mr Iqbal Memon Officer presented the detailed report of activities of AIMJF for the year 2019/20 viaDocumentary Film including present status of our community living in dilapidated houses, Women Empowerment, Health Issues etc.
• He further thanked all the Office Bearers / Board Members / Zonal Secretaries / NEC Members and Donors for their various selfless efforts to achieve above activities for the misfortune strata of our community at large.
• Members present appreciated the Report& Documentary presented by Mr Iqbal Memon Officer and assured their support through standing ovation.
• Mr Iqbal Memon Officer stated that we have to work hard till our community becomes self-esteem.
  
  He further thanked all for their kind faith, cooperation and support extended to AIMJF always due to which grand charitable activities were done.
