36th ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
“THE MEMON CONVENTION”

The 36th Annual General Meeting of “All India Memon Jamat Federation” (AIMJF) was held on Sunday, 6th May, 2018 at 10.30 am in in Memon Hall, Chowk Bazar, Surat.

Following 18 Board Members + Delegates of 362 Jamats + 61 Zonal Secretaries + 367 Locals and Invitees were present

Total 808 members were present

• Following Dignified Personalities attended the said Convention with their kind presence
  1. 1. Ms Asmitaben Siroya - Mayor of Surat City
  2. 2. Mr A Qadir Peerzada - Ex Mayor, Surat City
  3. 3. IPS K K Zala - Sr PI Surat
• Meeting was commenced with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Qari Imaan Saheb.
• Condolence Resolution and Dua e Magfirat was offered for Late Dr Amin Bhabha (Dy VP Chattisgarh) by Qari Imaan Saheb
• Memon Anthem and Memon Times Anthem was played.
• Mr Bilal Tinwala delivered Welcome address and greeted the members present.
• Zakat / Donation Appeal was launched by the hands of Hazrat Mufti Kalim Saheb Loharvi
• Minutes of 35th AGM were read and confirmed by all the members present
• Following 2 New Jamats were approved as a member Jamat of AIMJF.

• Audited Statement of Accounts for the year 2017/18 was unanimously approved by all the members present
• M/s Rangwala & Associates was appointed as a Auditor of AIMJF for the year 2018/19
• Mr Imran Fruitwala was promoted from Dy Chairman to Chairman of Youth Wing
• Mr Gaffar Memon was appointed as a VP of Chattisgarh Region of AIMJF
• Mr Haji Bhai Detroliwala was appointed as a VP of North Gujrat Region of AIMJF
• Mr Mustafa Kachalia, Talaja, Mr Rafik Barvatiya, Bangalore, Mr Noor Mohammed, Morbi, Mr Mujibur Rehman were appointed as a Zonal Secretaries of AIMJF
• Memon Times Special Issue, AIMJF Website & New Logo of Memon Day was launched by the hands of Mayor
• Mr Iqbal Memon Officer presented the report of Activities of AIMJF for the year 2017/18 as follows via Documentary (Details in tab of Donation Reports)
• Mr Ilyas Bha conveyed vote of thanks and meeting dispersed at 3.15 pm
