  • Meeting was commenced with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran & Naat e Rasool e Paak by Mr Iqbal Bera.

  • Mr. Aziz Machiwala presented the Minutes of 9th Board Meeting held on 29/10/2017 through Power Point Presentation which was unanimously confirmed & approved by the members present.

  • Members present noted and appreciated the same.
  • Mr Presented disbursed through Members present chqs of Rs.1,03,35,000/- towards 83 Housing Applications to concern Dy VP’s and Zonal Secretaries.
  • Appointment Certificates of Zonal Secretaries and NEC were also conferred by the hands of Members present.
  • Gathering appreciated the same.
  • Mr Yakub Ghazi requested all to promote Patron Card drive of AIMJF and contribute Rs.500 pm from Lillah Fund to consider Non Zakat Applications for various causes. He further requested all to become the Patron Member of Memon Times.
    Members present showed their overwhelming support for the same.
  • Mr Iqbal Memon Officer informed that Govt Scheme Guidance Wing (under Miss Sheherbanoo Gullar) and Matrimonial Wing (Under Mrs Razia Bai Chasmawala, Mrs Fabiha Patel, Mrs Sanobar Zaveri, Mrs Nasreen Maklai & Mrs Naseema Surty) are meeting every Saturday in AIMJF office from 3 pm to 6 pm and functioning very well and innumerous people are deriving benefit from the same.
    He also appreciated the great services of Mrs Zubeida bai Khandwani and Mrs Tasneem Merchant.
    Mr President requested all to refrain from huge unnecessary marriage expenses in fat marriages and utilize the same for the Upliftment of poor strata of our community.
    He requested all to register themselves for MEMON ID which will prove much beneficial and fruitful in long run.
  • Mr Iqbal Memon Officer stated that he has received offer from IMO (International Memon Organization) requesting him to act as a Vice President of IMO - India Chapter.
    He further asked for the views and opinion of members present.
    All unanimously showed their overwhelming support and guided him to take up the offer for the welfare and betterment of community.
    Mr Iqbal Memon stated that he will accept the offer subject to No Competition between any organization as the main of all Charitable institutions is Social and Not Commercial. We all are here to help the helpless thru various platforms and make our Aakhira and not for worldly gains.
    All the members appreciated the same with applous.
  • Mr Iqbal Memon Officer requested members present to apply their resources to generate Zakat & Donation Fund for AIMJF as the volume of applications are increasing tremendously. He further stated that Last year AIMJF has disbursed Rs.5.02 Crore and this year we have reached upto 5.21 Crores during span of 10 months i.e. from April, 17 to Jan, 18.
  • Mr President further introduced new concept of creating Donation (Non Zakat Fund) Drive by contributing Rs.500/- per month thru which deserving people of community will be benefitted for Business Loan etc.
  • Members present appreciated the same and showed their overwhelming support for the same and also assured their whole hearted support to generate Donation and Zakat funds for AIMJF from their side and also from their known resources at their best possible extent.
  • Mr Iqbal Memon Officer stated that there is a dire requirement to establish Youth & Ladies in all member Jamats of AIMJF. Youth are the future of our community and to join them with Jamat will bring fruitful result in upliftment of community in ‘TOTO’

  • Mr Aziz Machiwala specially thanked Mr Yakub Gazi, Mr Aslam Rangoonwala, Mr Naim Palwala and entire team members of Indore Memon Jamat for excellent arrangements of Food, Stay, Pickup etc.
As there was no other matter left for discussion, meeting was ended @ 3.15 pm with delicious Lunch
  • Thereafter Mr Iqbal Bhai Officer and all the delegates proceeded & Inaugurated Housing Apartment Building of Indore Memon Jamat consisting 20 flats at Khajrana, Indore.
  • The said Building was having flats of various sizes i.e 1 RK, 1BHK, 2 BHK as per the needs of benefeceries.
  • Mr Yakub Ghazi infomed that the said Building is constructed within 14 months with all fittings which are being used in their own Bungalows without any compromise in quality.
  • Mr Iqbal Memon Officer also laid Foundation Stone of B Block Building consisting 16 Flats.
  • hereafter in evening a grand Gala Dinner and Key Handing Ceremony was organized at Hotel Rangoon Resort wherein 20 keys were handed over to benefeceries by the hands of Board Members of AIMJF.
  • Program completed at 11 pm with a vote of thanks to entire team members of Indore Memon Jamat.

  • Mr Sharif Memon delivered the Welcome speech and greeted the members present and stated that the Alhamdulillah, Memon Community is famous for Business all over the World and in numerous brethren of community has reached the peak in their business / profession.
  • He appreciated the activities of AIMJF and stated that from 01/04/2017 to 29/10/2017 Rs.3.63 Crores has been disbursed by AIMJF for various charitable activities for the upliftment and betterment of community at large, now AIMJF is facing shortage of funds and 513 Housing Applications are laying pending in AIMJF office due to lack of funds.
  • Hence he proposed that it will be better to Stop accepting further Housing Applications and clear the pending backlogs of Housing Applications steadily as per availability of funds.
  • Mr Ilyas Bha Kapadia seconded the above Resolution.
  • Members present unanimously approved the same and following Resolution was passed. RESOLVED : that due to shortage of funds, not to accept / receive any Housing Applications wef 30/10/2017 by post / courier / inperson till clearance of pending Housing Applications lying in AIMJF Office. Proposed By : Mr Sharif Memon Seconded By : Mr Ilyas Bha Kapadia Unanimously approved by all the Members present by raising hand
  • Mr M Yakub Ghazi requested to conduct next Board Meeting in the month of February, 2018 in Indore at the occasion of Inauguration of Indore Memon Jamat Building consisting 15 flats and also to handover the keys to homeless deserving families.
  • Mr President, Board Members and Members present approved the same.
    Mr Ilyas Bha requested to conduct next Convention cum AGM of AIMJF in Surat under the banner of ASMA (All Surat Memon Jamat Association, they will take care of stay, food etc facilities of 1500 delegates.

    Mr Imran Fruitwala appreciated the kind hospitality extended by Mr Sharif Bhai Memon with excellent arrangements and stated that the Mumbai Core Team Members of Youth Wing are very active and they will try their best with the help of Core Team Members to create awareness and to establish Youth Wing @ all India level in every jamat.

  • As there was no other matter left for discussion, meeting was ended @ 6 pm including delicious Lunch at 1.30 pm and High Tea at 3.30 pm.
  • Thereafter Mr Iqbal Bhai Officer and all the delegates proceeded for Cricket Ground wherein Cricket Matches were being played by Memon Teams in Ahmedabad to award trophies to winning cricket team.
  • On 30/10/2017 Mr Iqbal Bhai Officer and team members reached Talaja (Dist Bhavnagar) to attend Colony Inauguration Function and Key handover ceremony consisting 54 flats of Talaja Memon Jamat

  • Meeting was commenced with recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Mr Rafik Lakhani
  • Mr. Aziz Machiwala read the Minutes of last Board Meeting held on 25/09/2016 which was unanimously approved by the members present.
  • Mr Iqbal Memon Officer introduced Ms Aliya Allana among the members present and appraised her about the schemes and activities of AIMJF.
    He further appreciated the great philanthropic contribution from ALLANA GROUP to AIMJF towards various charitable causes.
  • Rs.1,20,000/- was sanctioned & released towards 3 Medical Applications for Major / Minor Surgeries.
  • Rs.53,90,000/- was sanctioned towards 45 Housing Applications whose balance amounts were matched by the applicant / Jamat. The said applications were presented through Power Point alongwith photographs of poor families living in sub-human conditions.
  • Ms Aliya Allana observed and appreciated the activities of AIMJF and also offered her Journalism services for Memon Community in future.
  • Board Members stated that as per constitution of AIMJF, President of AIMJF is authorized to appoint Committees and designate concern persons in said committees and also to dissolve committee or reshuffle members as he deem fit.
  • Since one year tenure of Zonal Secretaries was completed on 31/03/2017, it was unanimously decided to dissolve all Zonal Secretaries and to make reappointment / new appointment accordingly for the betterment of community at large.
  • Mr President requested Members present to contribute their Zakat / Donations to AIMJF and also use their sources / good offices to generate Zakat Fund for AIMJF.
  • It was unanimously decided to conduct next 9th Board Meeting on Sunday, 9th October 2017 in Ahmedabad to be sponsored by Mr Sharif Bhai Memon.
As there was no other matter left for discussion, meeting was ended @ 11.45 pm with Delicious Dinner and a vote of thanks to the Chairman.

  • Mr Iqbal Bera informed the members to refrain from unnecessary, useless messages in Whatsapp Group due to which important messages are being missed out. As per request of President, he stated that separate Deeni Whatsapp Group of AIMJF will be created in which members may post Deeni / Religious / Demise messages.
  • Mr Wahab Vehvaria appraised about the various Govt Schemes existing in state for the benefit of Students, Widows, Handicapped and Aged people.
  • Mr Razzak Varshani requested all to form ‘Disaster Management Wing’ in all Jamats and affiliate Youth in said wing.

  • Rs.1,71,80,000/- was sanctioned towards 148 Housing Applications from various locations of Saurashtra, North Gujrat, Central Gujrat, South Gujrat, Maharashtra, Chattisgarh, Odisha, Bhiwandi, Kalyan, Mumbra, Manor, Sopara, Versova, Malad & Mumbai.
  • Mr Iqbal Memon Officer informed that Govt Scheme Guidance Wing (under Miss Sheherbanoo Gullar) and Matrimonial Wing (Under Mrs Razia Bai Chasmawala, Mrs Fabiha Patel, Mrs Sanobar Zaveri, Mrs Nasreen Maklai & Mrs Naseema Surty) are meeting every Saturday in AIMJF office from 3 pm to 6 pm and functioning very well and innumerous people are deriving benefit from the same.
  • Following dignitaries were felicitated with Shawl :-
    a) Mr Amin Patel (MLA) – For being awarded with Best MLA Award
    b) Dr Yunus Loya – For being awarded with Best Cardiologist Award
    c) Mr Imran Fruitwala (Newly Wedded)
  • Mr Iqbal Memon Officer requested members present to apply their resources to generate Zakat & Donation Fund for AIMJF as the volume of applications are increasing tremendously. He further stated that Last year AIMJF has disbursed Rs.5 Crore (approx) and this year it will be doubled.
  • Mr President further introduced new concept of creating Donation (Non Zakat Fund) Drive by contributing Rs.500/- per month by which deserving people of community will be benefitted for Business Loan etc.
  • Members present appreciated the same and showed their overwhelming support for the same and also assured their whole hearted support to generate Donation and Zakat funds for AIMJF from their side and also from their known resources at their best possible extent.
  • Mr Iqbal Memon Officer stated that there is a dire requirement to establish Youth & Ladies in all member Jamats of AIMJF. Youth are the future of our community and to join them with Jamat will bring fruitful result in upliftment of community in ‘TOTO’

  • Mr Abdul Kadar Netaji invited all the members in Inauguration of Memon Community Hall at Diodar and North Gujrat Memon Convention at Metrana scheduled to be held on 16/10/2016.
  • Mrs Tasneem Merchant presented the concept of COUMM movement by approaching the rich class people of community during the marriages in their families and requesting them to contribute reasonable amount for the marriages & other causes of misfortune, deserving strata of community.

  • As resolved in 7th Board Meeting Of "All India Memon Jamat Federation (AIMJF) held on 25/09/2016, we are pleased to introduce an "Interest Free Loan Scheme" For OLA Car / UBER /PRIVATE TAxi/ Auto Rickshaw financing scheme for the deserving people of our community.
  • Terms & Conditions of said Loan Scheme are as Follows:-
    1. . AIMJF will finance 80% of the value of New Vehicle or Rs 4,00,000/- (whichever is less0 @ interest free Loanbasis for OLA ,UBER ,PRIVATE TAXI, Auto Rickshaw .
    2. . Applicant has to repay the total loan amount in36 equated monthly instalments in the form of Post Daated Cheques (PDC) inAdvance.
    3. . All other charges RTO Registration, Trsansport Permit, Cost Of Affiliation With UBER,Ola or similar Organisation if any will have to be borne by the Applicant.
    4. The vehicle will be hypocated to AIMJF until Repayment Of full Loan ampount financed by AIMJF at its due date ior sooner determination.
    5. Applicant should hold a Valid Driving Licence Including Transport Permit and sufficient Experience of driving.
    6. Applicant is not allowed to rent the vehicle.
    7. Juridiction of the scheme is upto Mumbai , Thane,Mumbra,Kalyan,Virar & Navi Mumbai Only at initial stage.
    8. .Applicant should obtain a certificate from the bearers of his jamat in respect to his Genuineness, Credability, Repayment Capability and Repayment Undertaking/ Guarantee by his Jamat in the case of default.
    9. Applicant has to provide Two Guarantors also will be held responcible for repayment in case of default in repayment by the Applicant.
    10. Applicant should be a Halai Memon And a member of the HalaiMemon Jamat affiliated with AIMJF,Jamat should Authenticsate the same .
    11. AIMJF reserves the right toreject any/ all applications without giving any explanation / reasons for the same.

  • Rs.1,00,000/- was sanctioned towards Economic Upliftment Scheme (Interest Free Loan Scheme) to Saurashtra based 1 Jamat
  • Mr Aziz Machhiwala informed that Govt Scheme Guidance Wing (under Miss Sheherbanoo Gullar) and Matrimonial Wing (Under Mrs Razia Bai Chasmawala, Mrs Fabiha Patel, Mrs Sanobar Zaveri, Mrs Nasreen Maklai & Mrs Naseema Surty) are meeting every Saturday in AIMJF office from 3 pm to 6 pm and functioning very well and innumerous people are deriving benefit from the same.

  • Members present assured their whole hearted support to generate funds for AIMJF from their side and also from their known resources at their best possible extent.
  • Mr Iqbal Memon Officer stated that there is a dire requirement to establish Youth & Ladies in all member Jamats of AIMJF. Youth are the future of our community and to join them with Jamat will bring fruitful result in upliftment of community in ‘TOTO’
  • Mr Imran Fruitwala & Miss Sana Chasmawala appreciated the same and stated that the Mumbai Core Team Members of Youth Wing are very active and they will try their best with the help of Core Team Members to create awareness and to establish Youth Wing @ all India level in every jamat.
  • Mr Iqbal Memon Officer and members present appreciated the same and assigned them responsibility to do the needful accordingly.
  • Hon’ble President further informed that a circular from AIMJF office will be sent to each and every Jamat requesting them to establish Youth Wing & Ladies Wing in their Jamat.
  • As per request of President, Mr Shariff Memon felicitated Mr Riyaz Rashid (Proprietor – Riyaz International reputed Haj Umrah Visa Organizer) with shawl.
  • Mr Iqbal Memon Officer appraised the members present that Mr Shariff Bhai Memon has been continuously 4th time elected as a President of Halai Memon Moti Jamat, Ahmedabad.
  • As per request of Hon’ble President, Mr Abdul Kadar Dabawala felicitated Mr Shariff Memon with shawl for his grand achievement.
  • Mr Abdul Kadar Netaji invited all the members at North Gujrat Memon Convention scheduled to be held in Metrana or Diodar after Ramadhan.
  • A Chq of Rs.25,000/- was given by on-behalf of AIMJF Youth Wing by Miss Sana Chasmawala & Mr Imran Fruitwala to Mr Prashant Abhang of Jeevan Life Seva Sanstha towards digging trenches to increase the course of the river in Chincholi (Taluka Kaij) Maharashtra and save water for future uncertainties.
  • Mrs Razia Bai Chasmawala gave Free Roti Distribution compensation to a needy Cutchi Memon Lady who is preparing 100 Rotis daily and distributing the same among deserving.
